Corolla Light is the premiere subdivision on the northern Outer Banks. Voted the 2010 North Carolina Resort Community of the Year, Corolla Light has also been called a cruise ship on land. Other extras in the Corolla Light Resort: Heated Oceanfront Pool, 25 Meter Heated Indoor Lap Pool, Soundside Outdoor Pool, Indoor Tennis Courts (fee), 12 Person Hot Tub, Free Wi-Fi, Pro Shop with Equipment Rentals and Tennis Pro on Staff, Lighted Basketball Courts, Sand Volleyball Court, Horseshoes, Snack Hut, Soundside Outdoor Fitness Area, and 8 Outdoor Tennis Courts.

Corolla Light owners and guests enjoy discounted golf rates at The Currituck Club, whose Rees Jones designed course is located only 5 miles south of the resort. The club offers an 18 hole championship course stretching over 6,885 yards of diverse coastal terrain. Pick up your VIP card from the Sports Center to receive the discounted rates. Also offering discounted rates are Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, and the Pointe Golf Club and Carolina Club on the mainland.

Please note there is no parking on the streets. All vehicles must fit in the driveway of the property. No RV's, ATV's, golf carts, or boats are allowed inside the community. All trailers must fit under the property carport or be removed from the community.
