As a Guest Experience & Operations Specialist, you are the primary point of contact for guests, homeowners, and vendors, ensuring every stay runs smoothly from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
Be the First Point of Contact
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and messages from guests, homeowners, and vendors
- Navigate a wide range of needs, from booking inquiries to in-stay concerns and operational questions
Support Guests at Every Stage
- Assist guests with vacation planning and guide them through the booking process
- Help arriving guests with pre-arrival questions and details
- Support in-house guests by resolving concerns in real time
Troubleshoot & Problem Solve
- Diagnose guest-reported issues (appliances, access, amenities, etc.)
- Resolve concerns during the first interaction whenever possible
- Create detailed work orders for issues requiring escalation
- Ensure accurate communication is passed to the appropriate department
Coordinate Across Teams
- Act as the communication hub between guests and internal teams (maintenance, housekeeping, property services, etc.)
- Provide timely updates and ensure follow-through on guest needs

Overview
The Quality Control Inspector plays a key role in ensuring every vacation rental is fully prepared for guest and homeowner arrivals. This position focuses on detailed property inspections, confirming that cleanliness, functionality, and overall presentation meet company standards.
What You’ll Do
Conduct Property Inspections
- Perform detailed inspections of vacation rental homes prior to guest and owner arrivals
- Check appliances, electronics, locks, and home systems to ensure proper functionality
Ensure Cleanliness & Presentation
- Verify that each property meets company cleanliness and quality standards
- Identify and document any issues related to housekeeping or maintenance
Report & Document Findings
- Accurately record inspection results using company applications
- Report issues clearly and promptly for resolution
Travel Between Properties
- Efficiently manage a daily schedule across multiple property locations
- Ensure inspections are completed within designated timeframes
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel between multiple properties throughout the day
- Smartphone capable of downloading and using required applications

Outer Banks Blue is seeking a Maintenance Technician to serve as a front-line representative for both property owners and guests. This entry-level role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations across vacation rental properties. This position is essential to maintaining safe, efficient, and well-functioning homes that support an exceptional guest experience.
What You’ll Do
Perform Maintenance & Repairs
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on household equipment and property systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance issues within scope
- Complete minor repairs including plumbing, drywall, painting, and light construction
- Maintain and service audio/visual systems and other in-home technology
Respond to Guest & Owner Needs
- Address maintenance requests from guests and homeowners with a positive, customer service-oriented approach
- Ensure timely resolution of issues to support a seamless guest experience
Support Team Operations
- Assist team members with projects as needed
- Coordinate with other departments, staff, and contractors to complete work efficiently
- Demonstrate leadership and teamwork in day-to-day operations
Ensure Safety & Efficiency
- Follow safety standards and best practices in all tasks
- Use tools and equipment properly, including extension ladders and other maintenance gear
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record (must qualify for company auto insurance)
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- General knowledge of work safety practices
- Basic maintenance knowledge (plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, drywall repair, painting, etc.)
- Ability to carry and safely use an extension ladder

Overview
Outer Banks Blue Realty Services is seeking a Part-Time Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to support operations at our Elizabeth City laundry facility. This role is responsible for safely operating light to medium-duty vehicles (under 26,000 lbs.) to transport laundry goods, equipment, and materials to designated locations while ensuring timely deliveries and strong teamwork. This is a part-time position (wage based on experience).
What You’ll Do
Safe & Efficient Driving Operations
- Operate company vehicles safely in compliance with all traffic laws
- Plan and follow established delivery routes to meet schedules
Loading & Transporting Materials
- Load, secure, and unload cargo to prevent damage during transport
- Transport laundry goods, equipment, and materials between designated locations
Vehicle Safety & Maintenance Checks
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
Recordkeeping & Documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation
Team Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with housekeeping, QC, and property services teams
- Provide professional, dependable support during pickups and deliveries
- Assist with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
Critical Skills
- Valid Non-CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance checks
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with GPS/navigation systems
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Proficiency with MS Office or similar applications
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull wheeled laundry bins up to 700 lbs.
- Willingness to work in varied conditions (heat, cold, traffic, etc.)
