Time to go to Hono-Lou-Lou for a relaxing week at the beach! This lovely property has had a facelift with lots of pretty updates and amenities. Located at the very north end of Whalehead, the location is perfect for active families. The Shad Street beach access is just around the corner for long, lazy days at the beach. Bring your bikes because you have miles of bike paths to explore leading directly to Historic Whalehead Club and the Currituck Lighthouse. Lots of deck to relax and enjoy a quiet evening or get some sun. Imagine relaxing on the screened porch listening to the night sounds of the beach.

Inside there are two 65" Smart TVs for movies, gaming or streaming, one each in the living room and den. The house also features three large Master Bedrooms with private bathrooms and Smart TVs in all bedrooms. The rec room has one side designated for the media center, and the other for foosball or shuffleboard. The ping pong table will be a hit with all ages under the carport! Make family memories you will cherish forever!

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Great House Close to Beach
The house was great for our family vacation. The heated pool was great when the little ones wanted a break from the beach. The location offers privacy from the neighbors behind you so you can enjoy the pool. The location is perfect walkable distance to the beach and you can even cut through the public parking lot if you feel necessary. Everyone enjoyed walking to the beach for sunrise watching. The screened in porch offered an area where you can get shade from the sun but still enjoy the breeze. The shuffleboard and foosball table were perfect for the Tournament of Vacation Champs. Late at night sitting on the deck watching the stars and listening to the ocean were peaceful. The house is well equipped in the kitchen, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms were great, two outside showers, basketball hoop large enough driveway to move vehicles in and out. It was just a great house and glad the new owners are investing in it. The only downside was there was no pantry for all the food we brought but there was enough counter space that we made it easily work. Great House!

Beautiful House, Great Location, Amazing Salt Water Pool
Hono-Lou-Lou is a perfect house for a week at the beach. Our group loved everything about the house and location. We really enjoyed hanging out in the brand new salt water pool - larger in size than most other properties. Plenty of lounge chairs if you have a big group. The interior of the house is stunning. Most bedrooms have a private bathroom and the beds are so comfortable! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We had some meals out on the lovely screened in porch, which was great for eating, relaxing or playing games. The game room on the lower level has shuffle board, which was a hit for our group. The location is great - just a few blocks from the beach, close to Food Lion and many of the local restaurants. Look no further, Hono Lou-Lou is an excellent choice for a beach vacation.We look forward to coming back next year!

Wonderful place for a beach vacation
The house was perfect for a family trip for everyone (grandparents, kids, friends). The private bathrooms for the king bedrooms were a nice touch to give everyone the feeling of a little privacy. The house was within easy walking distance to the beach (even for the folks carrying the heavy coolers) and was close to a nice shopping center with food (bakery, restaurants, and entertainment). The kitchen had all required items to cook for the whole week including baking and grilling. Finally, the game room was a nice touch to end the evening with some shuffleboard.

Great house within walking distance to the beach!
This was the perfect house for my husband and I, our grown children and grandchildren. Each couple had their own king bed and private bathroom. Plenty of extra bathrooms, awesome game room (we especially enjoyed the shuffleboard!), and all within a 5-minute walk to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the linen package. Plenty of places to ride bikes, walk or jog daily. House is in a quiet neighborhood and is minutes from Food Lion, restaurants, etc. Thanks again for letting us use your home!
