Star of the Sea (formerly Stella Maris OBX) is an oceanfront property worthy of its name. Outside, you will find a heated pool and hot tub conveniently on the path to your private beach walkway. Imagine sitting on the deck, sharing a meal with friends and family, or watching the sun come up over the dunes. Inside, the rec room is a perfect place to take a break from the sun, shoot pool, or unwind. Star of the Sea is conveniently located in Nags Head at milepost 11 near shops, restaurants, and the Nags Head Fishing Pier.

Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Best house we have been to
This is our 4th house at obx and it is by far the best and our favorite. There is an ice cream place with shave ice right across the street! Has amazing ice cream. About 2 blocks away from the food lion. Kitchen is fully equipped (but we couldn't find a pizza cuttter). Plenty of seating for all of us inside and out. Couches were so comfy. Outside the chairs are so sturdy and not flimsy to where you feel like you're going to fall over. When we got here one bedroom sliding door lock, the outside pool light, a shelf in the fridge and a shower head were all broken. They offered to come fix things but we just suggested the shower head. The rest didn't bother us and could wait till we left. The elevator was a huge help to us with several people in our family needing the assistance. The path to the beach is not that bad either. There are some stairs but dune isn't so bad climbing to go back to the house. There were a few things that we did not care for about the house however it was not enough to bother and we made it work and we will absolutely be back next year. It says there's parking for 8 cars. However we had 2 cars a large suv and a huge truck and it was pretty tight. I don't know how 8 cars would fit. Also there's not a way to get to the outside deck to go down to the pool from the second floor without going through someone's bedroom. The pool is basically between level 1 and 2. Not on the first floor. So if you are in the 2 bedrooms that do not go out to the back deck and can't go through someone's bedroom you need to either go up to the top floor then down or down to the bottom then back up to go the second floor where the pool is. Getting a house with an elevator meant we had a person with physical issues. I wish there was a safety grab handle getting out of the shower on the top floor. Other than that the house is amazing and we had the best week. Everything was amazing.

Loved this house
Absolutely loved this house. So easy to access beach and the elevator made it so much easier for my husband with his walking problem. It also had everything we needed for cooking.
