Sanderling
Nestled among the trees, the Sanderling Community in Duck extends to both the Ocean and the sound. With quaint walking paths, heavily wooded areas, and homes that are purposely smaller and more traditional, you will think you have stepped back in time, to the Outer Banks of yesteryear. Although it is one of the most serene, secluded subdivisions on the Outer Banks, the Sanderling has plenty of modern amenities too. The newly renovated soundfront pool delights visitors of all ages while two subdivision restaurants offer unique dining experiences for families (the Lifesaving station) as well as special occasion dinners (the Left Bank) There is even a nearby spa. Sanderling is truly in a world of its own, a serene world of yesteryear we would all be lucky to live in.
Beach accesses 1-3 have limited roadside parking and renting guests do not have access to the fitness gym*
Tennis Courts are available for a nominal fee. There are 2 soundside piers/docks.
