Oldest Shipwreck in North carolina

Michelle Niles attends a seminar sponsored by The Whalehead Club and Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education. One of the topics was the move of the oldest shipwreck in NC history in June 2010. Before the Shipwreck was found, 2 men started this by finding random items within a 4 mile stretch of land with metal detectors. Ray Midgett & Roger Harris were present to answer questions and give opinions on where they think this ship came from. The most exciting part was the nails removed from the ship, the longevity of the life of a nail is surprising! Storms cover & uncover history and this is just a short part of it!
